Thank you to Republican State Senator Rick Bennett for chairing the Protect Maine Elections campaign and being a champion for reforming our currently broken campaign finance system. Rick helped lead a truly cross-partisan effort that led to an 86% victory!

The people of Maine have spoken loudly. The Protect Maine Elections campaign's 86% YES vote is the largest in the state's history. It's a resounding demand that Mainers want their federal delegation to work on a constitutional amendment to end the corrupting influence of money in politics, and they want foreign government interference in their elections to end.

American Promise and our partners overcame years of opposition and multiple vetoes to help the people of Maine have their voices heard again.
