Nash Farms Boer Goats
Registered American Boer Goat Farm
Here is an updated photo of our current herd sires! We have been quiet on our farm page due to scammers stealing our photos. All photos will be watermarked when posted. Please feel free to send us a msg to our personal fb pages if you send one to the farm page without a response! We do have kids available this year! Varying shades of red, red paint, and red dapple.
We will be listing the red dapple in this photo soon, too! CDNF Conques Bit O Sugar will be a hard one to let go! We've kept many sisters and kids of his. He knows his job, does it well, we've never had one not settle with him. He deserves more ladies for himself.
3 days to go for our herd queen, Rylee. I'm really hoping for girls, but healthy kids are most important! She's always had twins. Could I get lucky enough for twin does on my birthday?! We will see!
CDNF CONQUES DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Also known as Princess Chunk around here. She is due March 19, 2023. I'm just wondering how much more she will grow?! She's doing great! Her udder has begun to form, and it's the cutest little thing! She's still very much a momma's girl, her mom to her right. Her mom is due this weekend. I hope the little princess doesn't choose to sleep outside like she did last year when mom gave birth. At least she has a full cashmere coat if she does!
Baby watch is on with Sundae! She's very uncomfortable, talking to her belly and stretching more. We expect she will kid soon!
Our kidding season starts in 3 weeks! This will be our biggest one since starting our farm! We have 12 beautiful ladies bred to 4 different sires. We have a wide variety of genetics this year, including those sought-after UNANIMOUS lines!
We only have one commercial doe and one 50% doe, the rest are pure/full blood. We would love to get any of our kids into the hands of a showman! We will work with 4H and FFA kids within their budget. We want to support kids in their dreams of showing while keeping them on budget. Get with us early if you're looking for a show kid!
Between the stacked pedigrees and the heavy color variations, we expect these kids to be nothing short of perfection. Below, you'll find a sample of our pregnant ladies.
Miss Priss has 7 weeks to go! She's become very affectionate the last few weeks. I love the progress we've made with her. It's been a long few years of earning her trust. Having her walk up and lean on us for love absolutely melts my heart. She's always been a great foster mom. She takes on orphans on her own. She also likes to try to steal kids from her herd mates. This year, she gets her very own baby to love... and I'm not sure who's more excited, me or her 🥰
Sundae was determined to reach that alfalfa. Sundae has been hiding a big secret, she's expecting! To look at her, you'd never know! This past week, she began growing an udder! We don't have an exact date since she was exposed for 36 days at her last farm. Her window for safe delivery begins January 31st!
Scarlett with one of her triplets from spring 2022 kidding. Nova is 10 months old and about to outgrow her momma! Nova has the same look at me personality, always wants your attention, and believes your lap is her best nap spot, just like her momma. Looking at her now, she might have to stay and join our breeding program.
Kudos identifies as a gymnast, not a goat. He was the cause of a complete remodel for the buck pasture. That included covering the entire gate. Now that he can't see the girls through the gate, he no longer does his wiggle butt run and jump through. Extra strands of hot wire on both sides keep them off the fence. This is Kudos telling me he doesn't agree with his gate covering 🤣
I took this video the other day because I see a ton of posts about does having an attitude change while pregnant. This is Mainline Dottie, one of my favorite girls. She is like a puppy when open. She typically loves scratches and being rubbed on. But once bred, she's protective over the right side of her belly. The moment you rub her babies, she gets mad! In this video, you'll see her full-blown attitude over me touching her belly. She's snorting, puffing up at me, and even lunging towards me. She doesn't make contact with me. She's not really trying to hit me. She is letting me know she doesn't want me touching her kids. She only has this type of behavior when pregnant. Once kids are on the ground, you can touch them 🤣
Cleo, the little babe that almost wasn't. It's hard to believe how far she's come! Born to a first timer in a set of triplets. She was born blind, had pneumonia, and half the size of her siblings. She had the hardest time the first few days of life, I took her to be put down. While at the vet, the husband gets an overwhelming feeling that we should try. We changed our minds, our vet was relieved. She looked her over, gave some meds, puffed out the one eye lid and told us to keep a close watch. We weren't sure she would survive. She not only survived but has thrived! Her vision has completely corrected! She's growing and gaining well. She's small for her age but we expected that with all her troubles. We do expect she will catch up as she ages. I love looking outside and seeing her bouncing through the herd, it makes my heart swell. She's a pester, but the whole herd has patience with her that I've never seen. You'll never find Cleo alone, momma and sister are helicopters, and they watch over her fiercely. That's her sister behind her keeping watch. Cleo is full of s***k and always into something so she keeps them busy!
Pumpkins, our pregnant girls favorite snack
Kudos is a big fan of pumpkins. He was determined to get it open 🤣
Be sure to get some tickets for this beauty! Proceeds are going to Boer Goat Nation! If you haven't heard of this organization you need to check them out! They are making an impact on the youth of the boer goat industry one BGN Scholarship at a time!
This female has hit the ground running and already has some show points under her belt! With a respectable placing at the NAILE this week against some deep competition now is the time to take a chance on her!
Any questions send the Sunshine State Classic page a message!
3 year old commercial doe.
She is bred to the buck she is pictured with. Due February 21,2023
Miss Priss is your no fuss, put me in a pasture and let me be kind of doe. She loves treats and will coming running for snacks of any sort. She has never been sick or needed wormed. She is the easiest keeper! She is up to date on cdt until 30 days before she's due to kid. Recent f***l was clear. Hoof trim last month. Last weigh was 10/2/22 at 258 pounds! Typically needs a hoof trim about every 6 months and copper once a year. With pasture, hay, minerals, and water, this doe will be fat and happy.

Live in Putnam, Overton, White or Jackson County and need those fall decorations hauled off?! If you have straw/hay, pumpkins or corn stalks our goats and cows would love to have them! We will use your straw/hay as bedding. Pumpkins are one of our favorite snacks and are super healthy for us to eat! Just send our mom a PM with your address and she will come pick them up for us!
Thank you in advance for recycling your decorations into food from Nash Farms Boer Goats!!
Below is a photo of Nova and Sunshine enjoying one of their pumpkin donations from a local Puntam County family!
Feel free to share this post to help us!
The boys went into their new pasture over the weekend! They love all the extra space and their new viewing lines of the ladies! I find them galloping, hollering at the girls all the time now. Breeding season will be done soon, only a few ladies left to go!
If you look closely you will see Dottie is growing her little beard again! She only grows one when bred and it falls out a few weeks after kidding. If only all had such easy pregnancy signs!
Sundae likes fall time snacks
Sundae is settling in well. She's recovered from pneumonia and is eating well. She will now eat in the feed barn, no more bucket feeding for one! She's finally sticking up for herself against most of the herd. There are some does she won't even try with, I don't blame her for backing down from the higher ups in the herd. She's very much a man's goat but has learned that mom brings snacks and we loooovvvveeee snackies! She's quickly becoming another in your pocket, always in the way, always begging for scratches girl... which means she fits perfectly in our herd. She came exposed to a buck born here and later sold, Detour. She seems to be coming into heat but isn't like our other girls when they are in heat so we plan to blood test her. If she's open, we have to decide who she's going to pair with... Sugar or Kudos? Attaching photos of both bucks for everyone to weigh in.. photos of the boys didnt load, they are in the comments! Sugar is the dapple, Kudos is the paint. Let us know what you think!
Scrolling through pictures of the past year and couldn't help but share a few moments. Living memories and chasing dreams.
🚜 🐐 💯
Our first herd sire has moved along to new pastures. He's settling in well after a tussle with Detour. If you've been following us for a bit, you know that name! Detour was born here to our Licorice spring 2021. Little Critters got Detour this spring to cover their first bunch of registered girls, kids are expected soon from him! If you're looking for kids out of a solid black Movin On son, get with them quickly! I suspect those kids will be reserved early!
I miss big daddy- Conques Beast of Fire- a whole lot but posts like these help ease that pain.
We do have 4 spring 2022 doe kids from this big boy! Currently under treatment for pneumonia but will be ready 14 days after last dose. The girls are all doing well and aren't down, just snotty and coughing. We will not picture or post them until they are completely healthy. We will be sure they are 100% recovered before they can leave.

Today's pairing- Conques Dejavuu and Miss Priss.
Miss Priss is the only commercial doe we have. Deja is registered at 98.5% so a purebred boer buck. He's massive, only 6 months old!
She refused to stand for either of the other bucks, she continued to run to the pasture Deja was in. They got right down to business and then lip curled together.
This is the only doe Deja has been exposed to. This boy is looking for his own pasture of ladies! He can come with his wether buddy so he isn't alone if needed! His wether buddy is the same age, a half sibling and 100% registered- not that paperwork matters once wethered. I have paperwork in hand, tattoos done and ready to get them on their next field!
