We are cutting hay in the next week or so pending weather. We have estimated 1,000 square bales give or take. We will only be cutting 300-500 due to lack of storage unless someone wants a bunch that can pick up the day they are baled.

We DO NOT spray our fields or fence rows with anything. We DO NOT use synthetic fertilizer. We maintain our fields with organic/non GMO chickens and turkeys that we rotate throughout the year. We plan on having the hay tested once baled.

Would anyone on here be interested in non sprayed hay? Been told it's horse quality. No fertilizer. We run our chickens over it (they are organic too). Most likely 4x5 rounds. Not sure on price or if we are doing it. 30-50 bales per cutting approximately.

Pigs pigs are getting big. So far respecting the hot wire. They are out of their training pen and roaming the hill side.

This sheep dog is covered in his own blood after fighting off wolves protecting his flock, while the sheep gently comforts him.
Regardless of how physically strong or emotionally tough someone is, showing them how much you appreciate their efforts goes a long way.
The dog is willing to die for his sheep, and the gesture of the sheep comforting him is all he needs.

Pork chops on the grill the other night 🤤

Ok so....

Poultry netting works to keep pigs in. We didn't use that as we normally do when they are younger. Instead we got ahead of ourselves with these pigs and went straight to goat/sheep netting. They got out. We got them back in and kept them overnight and all day behind one section of poultry netting. Today we decided it's time to go full pig and set up a training pen for two strand hot wire. So far so good, we shall see what happens. 🤠
