The Overton County distribution went great yesterday! We were able to provide food to 241 kids on top of the 530 kids we delivered to in Putnam County last week! Thank you to all of our volunteers!!! 🫶🏼

Fall Break '23 Distribution Volunteers are vital to the success of Food to the Rescue. We are in need of volunteers to donate their time to assist in delivering the food to the children's homes. We also need groups for un-boxing, packing, and organizing the food bags to go out for delivery. If you have a group that would be in...

🎉 Putnam County distribution on Thursday was a success! The rain didn’t put a damper on our volunteer’s spirits or ours but we got it done. Thank you to all of our volunteers especially our drivers for delivering boxes to children and their families in our community!

👏🏼 A 𝑩𝑰𝑮 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑲 𝒀𝑶𝑼 to this awesome group of 7th graders from Highland Rim Academy!
💪🏼 They moved pallets of food into place, did pre-inventory on the food that just came in, put Overton County boxes together and even did a little sweeping and cardboard haul off!
😀 With their help, we will feed around 800 kids for 2 weeks this Fall Break.

👏 Lisa is one of our volunteer coordinators and has been with us for over a year. She was truly a God send! We prayed for someone as passionate about feeding the kids as we are, a get-er done type personality, and one who takes charge and doesn't need instructions! She is a such a blessing to FTTR and still in awe that God answered prayers by sending her to us!

➡️ FTTR is seeking a 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 to help consistently with each distribution. The Coordinator takes an inventory of the food on hand, orders food needed for distributions, schedules pick-up/delivery of food, receives food at the warehouse, inventories new food received, and records cost per child per box. This position will help routinely at the 6 distributions during the year.
