Holden Qi gong Cert. Myofascial Release, by John F. This technique could help you!
Barnes, PT, is a highly effective stretching and deep tissue release technique. This is not your typical "massage" or "quick thrust" manipulation. The technique is a very gentle but prolonged hold stretch or light pressure over areas of tightness in the connective tissues, called "fascia". The fascia is 70% water, collagen, and components that create scar tissue. It is arranged in a 3 dimensional

Dear Facebook, I do not want to ask Meta AI anything, so if you could just give me my search bar back, that’ll be great. Ok thanks!
PASTE ! It does work!
I started Shine almost four years ago after being let go from my job during covid. I didn’t know if being a PTA would survive the changes in the world. I was praying about what to do next and Shine was my answer. Working with my daughter and all the amazing teachers and students we have had has been an absolute joy🥰
I have been working with Victoria and Ashley for almost a year at Victoria’s Total Balance Therapy and they are fantastic! They are integrating with the Daily Barre and becoming The Studio Crossville and Shine is going to be a part of it😀
We will still be at 39 Cother St for all of June doing all the Shine things- Garry the goat is coming, summer fun time activities, doorstands, yoga at mom and dad’s- and in July we will be at 1173 Genesis and it’s going to be really cool y’all! ✌🏼

Join us at The Hive Collective for an Infant Massage Class led by Rebekah on Thursday, April 18th from 5-6pm.
This hands-on class will give you the skills to implement massage in your baby’s routine. Not only is infant massage a great bonding experience for you and your little one, but it also has numerous benefits for their physical and cognitive development. It can even help improve sleep patterns, reduce congestion, and sooth tummy issues!
The cost for the class is $20 per family, and you can register through the Upcoming Events Link in our bio, on The Sweet Sage website, or in person the day of class. Feel free to contact Rebekah for more information.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn how to give your baby the gift of massage. See you there!
Our vagus nerves help us rest, digest and restore. Can you really reset them to feel better? The sympathetic nervous system produces our fight-or-flight response to any perceived threat. The vagus nerves are part of the parasympathetic nervous system, which does the opposite.
Yep
When nasal breathing is hindered, even temporarily, our jaws drop and our tongues shift forward to compensate, impacting not just our airways but also our overall posture and health. 😮
That’s why nasal hygiene is important! Keeping our nasal passages clear and healthy not only helps us breathe easier but also supports better jaw alignment and overall well-being.
If Nasal hygiene doesn’t work for you, it may be a structural component. Get an evaluation from an ENT!
No matter where Holly and Kim train, students always tell them that this work is the missing piece. When they used the phrase—Discover the Missing Piece—as the lead tag for their new website, I agreed that it was an excellent choice.
Let me explain why the Gillespie Approach is the missing piece. The short version is that since the craniosacral fascial system touches every cell of the body, no matter what branch of the healing arts you practice, your patient can respond faster with a more lasting result.
The craniosacral system is important for cognition, nervous system regulation, and body balance. While Dr. Viola Frymann was mentoring me, I discovered the power of the work. The Upledger Institute has trained 132,000 providers, making craniosacral therapy more mainstream in healthcare.
John Barnes P.T. has done a fantastic job in training over 100,000 myofascial release providers and putting fascia on the healthcare map. I had the honor to work in his office as the TMJ and cranial doctor for ten years.
My periodontal background of 22 years showed me the importance of head and neck function, which is strongly reflected in the Gillespie Approach Trainings. We are dealing with brain function, cognition, seeing, chewing, smelling, hearing, tasting, swallowing, speaking, and breathing.
When all three components are combined, this platform can become a powerful healing tool. Patients who seek treatment generally have very restricted craniosacral fascial systems. Conventional healthcare providers have little or no knowledge of this system. We can sometimes get spectacular results because of the power of its optimal function.
Holly, Kim, and I want everyone on the planet to experience its benefits. Whatever your role in the healthcare system, your patients can significantly benefit from this work. Gillespie Approach Training can unlock the healing door for many patients.
