Attorney Virginia Perez attended the 2024 Attorney Trust Officer Conference at The Breakers in Palm Beach this past Thursday to Saturday. It has become an annual tradition because it’s such a wonderful event full of great education on matters relating to trusts and the many exhibitors that offer services our clients may need such as appraisers, auction houses, and professional trustees. It’s also a favorite for family time with the kids.

Great turnout today for my presentation on Estate Planning at The Carl Shechter S.W. Focal Point Senior Center. This group had so many questions. It was great sharing my knowledge.

The Miami-Dade Chapter of Florida Association of Women Layers hosted a wonderful lunch with author Dana Rubin who compiled many women’s speeches in her book to share and empower women to use their voice and become thought leaders. The author signed a sweet message to my girls in my copy. 🥰📢💪🏼

At Barbara Goleman Senior High’s Law Career Day. 3 attorneys attended.

Many estate plan signings require a lot of signing by the client, witnesses, and notary. There are specific rules that need to be complied with to ensure the validity of your documents. This takes time so I have games to keep clients entertained although we usually just chit chat. One of my fave signings was at a client’s home. I was able to play a full game of chess with one of my clients while we waited for a witness to show up. ♟️

Ready for my client’s Estate Plan signing meeting. With every plan, I draft documents specific to client’s situation and wishes, explain the documents in person, provide the necessary witnesses and notarization to ensure they will be legally enforceable, draft and record deeds for my clients, provide my clients with a personalized estate plan binder to store their important documents. I like to build a relationship with clients and look forward to helping them and their families for many years to come.

The Florida Bar's annual Attorney/Trust Officer Liaison Conference at The Breakers in Palm Beach was one of the best I’ve attended. The speakers and topics were fantastic and I’m sure will benefit my Estate Planning and Probate clients.
