Congratulations to the 87 FFA members from Oregon receiving their American Degrees this October.

The Oregon FFA Association is seeking a proven trainer, facilitator and curriculum developer to serve as our Leadership Development Coordinator. This position’s overarching role is to develop future leaders in Oregon agriculture by creating enhanced leadership development opportunities for Oregon FFA members. The successful candidate will guide, coach and mentor our FFA Association State Officers as well as facilitate numerous statewide camps and workshops.

Our third District Spotlight is…
The Southern Oregon District!🎉

The Southern Oregon District is home to the deepest lake in the United States, a dormant volcano, the worlds only Bigfoot trap, and is proud to claim 14 chapters within its district (the largest in Oregon).

Southern Oregon continues to be a prominent producer in beef cattle, hay, and root crop. This diverse district is led by their devoted district officer team Anna Kliewer, Campbell Meade, Dylan Orr, Brooklyn Johnson, Madisyn Hutsell, and Cayden Schweiger. We are truly honored to have the members of Southern Oregon be a part of our association!

We had an amazing VIP Capitol tour with staff from Senator Wyden's office this afternoon.

We spent the week talking about advocacy and being advocates...what do you advocate for?

Great monument night tour in Washington DC.

While we were not able to visit offices in person today due to events happening at the Capitol, we were able to conduct virtual visits with the offices of Senator Merkley, Congressman Bentz, and Congresswomen Chavez-DeRemer.

Last night, officers spent the evening preparing for legislative visits in Washington DC. Thankful to those individuals who helped us prepare to be advocates for FFA and Ag Education.

State Officers got to hear from and be part of a question and answer session with Xochitl Torres Small, the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture tonight as part of the National FFA State Officer Summit.

An unforgettable day for the State Officers as they paid their respects at Arlington National Cemetery this morning. The visit was a powerful reminder of the sacrifice and dedication of our nation's heroes. We are inspired and grateful for the opportunity to honor their legacy.

State Officers started the National FFA State Officer Summit off talking about how to be an advocate. See the pictures below on how they will be advocates, comment below on how you can advocate in your local community and chapter.
