You can drop off your backpack donations at Linus Pauling Middle School (front office) between 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. 📚✏️

In Corvallis, summer school is changing students’ lives. But statewide, funding for summer programming is limited In Corvallis, the district foundation — which raises money from donors to support students and teachers — stepped in with $165,000 to support summer programming after state funding was capped at $30 million, which went primarily to high needs districts.

This summer, we supported a two-week field ecology course for CVHS, CHS, and College Hill students who were credit deficient. Through this summer program, students earned 0.5 science credits by engaging in real-world learning experiences and field trips focused on biodiversity and local ecosystems in rivers, wetlands, tide pools, and more. 🌊🌳🦀

None of this would be possible without the incredible support from our community. Thank you for making these enriching summer programs a reality!

Summer programs are in full swing – and that includes high school credit recovery! Students are working hard, staying engaged, and dedicating their summer to getting classwork done.

Last week, we joined Corvallis School District staff and students for a fun Hotdog Day. 🌭 We had the opportunity to connect with students and enjoy the sunshine (and BBQ!)

Students find themselves needing to recover credits for a wide range of reasons, and we are so proud of them for showing up and getting it done 💪 This is only possible with support from our amazing community. We are so grateful!
