Welcome events, classes kicking off, the Beaver Community Fair -- it's week two at Oregon State and so much has happened already! But before we get too caught up in the whirlwind that's fall term, let's take a moment to stroll down memory lane with a short recap video of Move-in 2022!
Oregon State Move-In Tip No. 4: Be sure to check your housing portal! Along with your room assignment and roommate information, it's where you can see your move-in time slot and campus mailing address. During the school year, you'll use the portal for things like signing up for break housing, submitting maintenance requests, and checking your dining plan. https://uhds.oregonstate.edu/housing-portal
Oregon State Move-In Tip No. 3: Once you receive your room assignment this summer, you can sign up to have your bed lofted or bunked! Visit the link in our bio for more info.
Three things to know about loft kits:
1 - If you sign up for a loft or bunk by July 30, 2022, our staff will have it ready and waiting when you move in. You can still request loft kits after July 30, but later requests will be filled based on staff and equipment availability.
2 - It costs $230 (charged to your student account) to rent a loft or bunk kit for the year. If you and your roommate would like to bunk your beds, the charge is split between both of you. Students are not allowed to build their own lofts or bunks.
3 - Some rooms (especially triple and economy triple room types) come with lofts or bunk beds already installed at no charge due to the room layout. Visit the loft kit page and click "Complimentary Kits" to see if your room comes with one already installed.
Click the link in our bio for more information!
Move-in Tip No. 2: Room assignments notifications begin on July 15!
First-year students will start receiving room assignments this Friday. If you don’t receive right away, don’t worry, we will continue assigning throughout the summer.
Your room assignment is sent via your OSU email, so make sure you are checking it throughout the summer. Also, once you have your room assignment, you can request a loft-kit through your MyUHDS portal.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
Only 10 more weeks till we start welcoming you to campus!
