Fall quarter is just around the corner!! In case you haven't registered for your favorite musical ensembles yet, please remember to do so soon! De Anza College not only has two wonderful choirs, but also a wind ensemble and a chamber orchestra! Don't forget to throw some music into your schedule as you fall back into your school routine!

The De Anza Chorale meets Monday nights at 6:30 pm. This is a larger non-auditioned vocal ensemble which is a great, low-stress way to get involved with music on campus. CRN: 22947

The De Anza Vintage Singers are an auditioned chamber ensemble which meets Monday/Wednesday from 11:30am to 12:20 pm and on Fridays from 11:30am - 1:20pm. The Vintage Singers are a higher-level ensemble, so if you're up for a musical challenge, they're the group for you. CRN: 20494

The De Anza Symphonic Wind Ensemble meets 12:30pm - 2:20pm on Monday/Wednesdays. The wind ensemble is a group of Brass, Woodwind, and Percussion enthusiasts who get together and perform symphonic works. CRN: 01707

The De Anza Chamber Orchestra meets Thursday nights at 7:30 pm. This primarily string ensemble seeks to perform of music for chamber orchestra while emphasizing the development of good ensemble and proper musical interpretations. CRN: 20496

As the 2015 summer session comes to a close at De Anza College, here's a tasty reminder to keep practicing over the summer! Also, registration is now open for the Fall 2015 quarter. Don't forget to sign up for your favorite music classes!

Tonight is the night! Curtain rises in about half an hour for De Anza College's final choir concert of the year. 7:30pm in the Visual and Performing Arts Center on campus!

As we come up on the tail end of the quarter, now's a great time to remind everyone that our Spring Concert is coming up in just a week from today!

Today marks the first day of Spring Break here at De Anza College! The Spring Quarter begins on Monday April 6th. Please consider joining either of our choirs: the De Anza Chorale which meets on Monday nights at 6:30pm or the auditioned Vintage Singers which meets at 11:30am Monday, Wednesday, Friday. If you have any questions about either of these ensembles, feel free to ask!

Welcome back students of De Anza College! After our first week back, there is still room in the Monday night De Anza Chorale. If you're looking to add a little more music in your life, we meet every Monday at 6:30pm in classroom A11 on the De Anza College Campus. If you're interested in joining, or are even curious about our group, be sure to stop on by!

Notes on our upcoming performance with the one and only Peninsula Cantare!

Peninsula Cantare is proud to announce a Spring/Summer Concert on June 14th at Transfiguration Church, 39th and Alameda de las Puglas in San Mateo, 7:30 PM and June 16th at De Anza College, 7:30 PM.

"Choral Collage" features the singing of not only Peninsula Cantare under the baton of Dr. Ilan Glasman, but also The De Anza Chorale and The Vintage Singers.

The beautiful music of Brahms, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Eric Whitacre, and many other choral music greats will be featured.
