Thank you Brenda Flores and Byron Garvey from Visit Dallas for speaking to our scholars this past week. The swag was an added bonus.

Parent/teacher night September 26th 6pm to 8pm. Senior parent night as well.

To past students and friends...we will be having a back to school bash with our feeder pattern- from elementary schools, middle schools- that feed into Skyline. I am looking for any "swag" from anyone in the hospitality field. It doesn't have to be elaborate and can be from lodging, food and beverage, transportation, and entertainment industries. What a great week we had. Our junior classes hosted 3 holiday parties for some of our SPED classes that are in our building. I am so proud of my scholars. Enjoy some of the photos.

Skyline's NAF Visit Was a Huge Success

NAF staff and partners came to see our 5 distinguished academies in action and to learn more about how we do what we do and what makes our academies so successful.

Our student ambassadors led the NAF guests on academy tours and participated in a student panel where they eloquently described how NAF has elevated their job training, internship and career planning preparedness while building their confidence to communicate and network with a variety of industry partners and business owners.

Our AOHT ambassadors were wonderful this week when NAF came with our industry partner AT&T.

Good morning- A new school year has started and I am looking for a few people that could be guest speakers for my scholars. You must go to the Dallasisd.org website and go under volunteer and fill out the quick background form (must be done every year). I am currently looking for but not limited to:
Dress for success - maybe a fashion show using our scholars, or a multi media presentation.
Event planners that can show different types of events and explain the RFP's that they will understand.
Any persons that are in the hospitality/tourism field OR customer service careers.
