DEADLINE EXTENDED to April 30th!

Calling all high schoolers! The GOTV Social Media Contest has been extended to April 30th. Submitting to the contest is simple as 1,2,3!

1. Go to www.mttp.vote to learn more about the upcoming elections coming up May 2022.

2. Create a 60-90 second video to be shared via social media. Let students know why it is important to vote in EVERY election. Not sure what to create? Just be yourself!

3. Submit a link or upload your video to the following form: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSeW75xB3H1.../viewform
Winners will be announced on May 1st! 10 student videos will be selected from Dallas County and Tarrant County to win cash prizes.

$250 will be awarded to individual high school winners & $500 to teams. You will also receive an invitation to SVEC's End of Year Celebration!!

**Students do not have to SVEC members to participate**

Throwback Thursday! 😄 Early last fall Townview HS hosted their very first on-campus SVEC Club Meeting. Since then they have researched a variety of policy topics important to their members and engaged in a variety of fun activities around voting.
