REMINDER that gold group has new practice days starting THIS WEEK! Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 7pm - 8:30pm.

We can't wait to welcome our blue group to their first practice on Tuesday! Don't forget there is a parents meeting from 5:30 - 6pm in the Highland Park High School wrestling room where you will meet the coaches, learn details about the upcoming wrestling season and ask any questions you may have. Please use the entrance on Westchester so a team representative can help you find the room.

Registration is almost over so sign up today so you don't miss out on the 2024-2025 season! We have 3 different levels available for athletes of all experience levels.

WHITE
Grades pre-k through 2. Focus is on learning basic wrestling moves and developing a solid foundation for the future. BLUE
Grades 2-8. Focus is on learning beginner to intermediate technique and developing good wrestling tendencies.
GOLD
1-8. Focus is on learning advanced technique and developing a competition mindset.

Gold group ends every practice with push ups AND all of these boys have committed to 25 push ups a day.

Even our littlest wrestlers learn how to give a proper handshake with eye contact at SWC. The athletes shake every coaches hand before leaving practice. This is just one way we teach respect and sportsmanship.
