MEET LACEY!!

Lacey is looking for a new home!!

Her current home has many small dogs and she is too big.

Lacey is 7 yrs old and may be a low rider "Cowboy" Corgi/Australian Shepherd blend of some sort!!

Lacey would do well as an only dog. She has lived in a house with 15 plus dogs but really deserves a quieter home. She knows commands and is housetrained and crate trained and good with kids!!

She needs a foster or adopter before she ends up at the shelter!! Lacey would be great as an only dog.

MEET EMBER!!!

Ember is 4-5 years old and weigh about 7lbs.

Sadly, her crappy owners moved out of the trailer home, out in the country and was left five dogs behind.

They abandoned a Husky that was left inside the home and Ember was left in a dog pen nursing three 6 week old puppies. (one died of distemper).

Ember is a great little dog!! She is great with other dogs and loves kids!! She loves toys and is very good on leash! She loves attention and is very snuggly!

BONUS: She is housetrained!

MEET TRIXIE!!!

Trixie was running as a stray in the street with her two 8 week old puppies and Daddy.

One of our volunteers almost hit them and was able to get one puppy and Mama and is working on capturing the other two that ran into a field.

The crappy owner was found and said he didn't want them.

Trixie is friendly, sweet and affectionate and about 3 yrs old and weighs 28 lbs. She would love to be an only dog.

She loves people and kids! Perfectly house trained! The softest fur!

Libby got a much needed groom and a dental and was spayed and she is so happy!!

Conner's owner passed away and his brother dumped him at a rural shelter.
He tested slightly positive for heartworms. Conner has already gone through treatment and we expect him to test negative within 6 months!

Conner is about 3 years old and weighs 12 lbs.

Conner is a very friendly guy that is outgoing and spunky and has never meet a stranger!

He can be an only dog but also gets along with other dogs that are not alpha dogs.

He is not a fan of being in a crate but doesn't need one. He has great doggy manners. He does wear a belly band.

MEET COLTON!!

Colton's owner passed away and his brother dumped him at a rural shelter.
He was never vetted but is now! He tested slightly positive for heartworms and has already gone through treatment and he is now heartworm negative!

Colton is about 3 years old and weighs 15lbs.
Colton is a very sweet and shy and gentle soul. He has had a crappy life but that has now changed!!!

Colton had negligent owners that dumped him in a shelter in rough shape. He was underweight, flea infested, had severe hookworms and had a skin issue from flea dermatitis. He is all good now!

He is super sweet and loves to cuddle with his person! He gets along with other dogs. House trained! May need belly band if with other dogs.

Colton will do best with another dog in the home.

Sadly, Bastille found himself abandoned as a kitten and out in the cold. Someone asked us if we could help and we said yes!!

Bastille is about a three years old and has been completely vetted!

MEET BAYLOR!

Baylor was tossed in the backyard with a dog house and lived like that for 3 years. Then they decided they didn't want to bother with him anymore.

Baylor is a 7 year old, 20 pound Chihuahua/Cattle dog blend.

Baylor lives with 4 other small dogs and is very respectful to the senior dogs and loves to play with a small Chihuahua.

He is a very loving and snuggly dog who wants to be in your lap or giving you kisses.

Baylor loves to be outside and go on walks and as long as he is with you!

Baylor will do well as either an only dog with someone that is home most of the time or with other dogs when his people are at work.

He will do fine with older children. He is potty trained and crate trained.

MEET CORKY!

Corky was spotted laying in a ditch. The finder turned the car around to go check on him. She went to the house nearby and knocked on the door. The people said he was their dog and that Corky and another large dog were injured in a storm and both have chemical burns. The large dog was not found.

The owner said they could not afford vet care and that Corky gets out frequently from their broken chain link fence. So the finder reached out to us for help!

He has healed and is doing great! What a great dog!

He is about one years old, weighs 14 lbs. and is super sweet and very friendly. Talk about sweet!!! He has never met a stranger! We are in love! Good with kids and other dogs!!

Must have another small and playful dog in the home. He is super playful!

Corky is housetrained!

MEET ZEKE!!

Zeke and his little friend were found living under someone's shed. They were there for about two weeks. The finder was feeding them but unable to bring them in and no owner came forward.

One of them were chipped and the owner finally responded after 3 weeks but never responded back again.

Zeke is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua fusion). He is about a 4 years old and weighs about 12lbs.

Zeke is a super great dog! He is loving and sweet and loves to be in your lap!!

He loves to be with his person and is a velcro/lap dog!! If you are sitting down... he is right there with you! He LOVES to cuddle! He is laid back and chill!!

Zeke gets along great with other dogs. He is fully housetrained and has great house manners and can be trustworthy free in the house!!

Another small dog in the home is required.

Murphy and his 6 week old siblings were found as strays (supposedly) and brought to the shelter.

All of them got pre-adopted but Murphy had a swollen boy part so we were asked to rescue him! It has been treated!

Murphy is now 8 months old and weighs 17 lbs. He is cute as a button and is an adorable dapple, spotted Chiweenie!!

Murphy will need another small playful dog in the home as he loves to play! He has a great temperament and as sweet as can be! He is funny and a lover!

Brogan and another dog were being given away for free on Facebook.

They were picked up by a lady but they were not a good fit for her RV lifestyle and reached out to us for help!

Brogan is 7 months old and weighs 12lbs!

Brogan is a sweet, timid boy and he gets along with other dogs!! We believe he was not handled much as a puppy.

He is a very sweet boy and he loves to be around people and give kisses and be loved on but is hesitant to be picked up but gets better every day!

He will need someone patient to help him to trust people picking him up. (he is docile!).

Brogan needs another small playful dog in the home!

MEET IVY!!

Ivy was found under a house after running around loose for days. Some Good Samaritans were finally able to capture her. Turns out, she is a very sweet dog!
She was totally flea infested. But not any more!

Ivy is a little scruffy girl that is about 9 months old and 10 lbs. She is affectionate and playful with other dogs.

She went up to a house that had food and water bowls outside so she knocked on their door.

They told her that they didn't want them anymore! We offered to spay the mom dog that was there. They kept mom and gave us Apple and Harrison.

Apple is a 10 month old Chiweenie girl!

Apple is super sweet and she gets along well with other dogs! She needs a similar sized playmate in the home.

Tyce was given up because his owner could not take care of him. He was allowed to wonder the neighborhood and she could not/would not keep him safe.

Tyce is the sweetest and friendliest dog ever! He loves to play! He was amazing in his bath!

Tyce has never met s stranger and gets along great with new dogs!!

If you want a social butterfly, Tyce is your guy!

We think he is 8-12 months old and about 18 lbs.

He cannot be kept in a wire crate alone. But you can use a plastic carrier! He just wants to be where you are! House trained!

Sadly, Andi was abandoned in a trailer park when her owner moved out and left her behind in the middle of winter. She had ant bites all over her.

She was rescued from that situation but is now needing a new home because she is not fond of the new baby in the home.

Where was down in South Texas and he was very sick. One of our Volunteer saw him and he really spoke to her heart. So we had him transport it up here and began his medical treatment.

Rio was so skinny and full of worms! But now he has gained weight, he is worm- free, and he is loving life! He looks like a Boxer mix. Rio is 7 months old and 23 lbs.

This baby is a great puppy! He loves other dogs. Rio is super sweet and loves to be with his people we think when dogs come from a hard situation, they really show their appreciation.

MEET LILLY!!

Lilly was hit by a car and then found scared and cowered down and hiding behind a kiddy carousel at a gas station.

One of our rescuer friends saw the post about her and went and got her. and took her to urgent care.

Lilly had some road rash but no bones were broken.

What a sweetheart she is! She is super sweet and calm and gentle. She is a beautiful little soul! Lilly just wants to crawl into your lap. She craves to be loved.
Her hair is very, very dry and you can tell that she lived outside but she has had a bath with a nice conditioner and she feels so much better!!

Sadly, it appears that she was recently nursing puppies but we don't know her story.

Lilly is a Chiweenie and is about a year old and weighs about 15 lbs.

Lilly is great with other dogs but her favorite place to be is by your side!

Someone reached out to us for help. Sadie was sick and not eating and had a growth on her private parts. We took her to our vet where she had surgery to have the growth removed and to remove a blockage in her intestines.

Sadie is all healed up and ready to be spoiled!

Sadie is a 5yr old Yorkie blend and she weighs about 9lbs.

Sadie is a sweetheart!! Sadie loves to cuddle and lay with her person!! Sadie would love to be an only dog and get all the attention but she is also ok with other dogs!

Sadie loves to roam around a yard and sniff and chase squirrels and she is as cute as a button!

Sadly, Mama Tawni's owner didn't spay her and she got pregnant.

The day after she gave birth, her owner took her and her day old puppies and tried to dump them at the Fort Worth shelter but the shelter refused to take them because they were killing for space so her owner reached out to us for help!!

When we got Tawni, her little 5 puppies they were only a week old.
We named them the "T" puppies!!

Taffy is about 4 months old and she weighs about 4lbs!!

Taffy is a sweet and calm! She is very affectionate and give sweet kisses!!!

Taffy loves to cuddle and be in your lap!!! She gets along with other dogs and cats! *Must have another small, playful dog in the home.

Her brothers are also available: Toby, Tanner!
(siblings are not adopted together due to littermate syndrome).
