Today was supposed to be a great day, as Sharla Woodard and I were setting up our Pink Peppermint Project Mint with Love booth for the Grand Opening of the Methodist Dallas Medical Center Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Center , looking forward to seeing the beautiful smiles of thrivers and conquerors, when we hear ACTIVE SHOOTER…

Two nurses lost their lives today, and it breaks my heart so deeply. Praying for all those impacted by this loss including the injured. Just left the ER, I ended up tearing my ACL, as I attempted to flee the hospital. We are praying for the MMC family. Special thank you Nurse Danielle Fortado for taking care of me until my husband arrived. Thank you to my boo and good good girlfriend she may be late but always on time in so many ways!! Love you sister so much.

October 16, 2020 is National Mammography Day!

National Mammography Day was first proclaimed by President Clinton in 1993, and is held on the third Friday in October of each year.

On this day, or throughout the month, women are encouraged to make a mammography appointment.
