AGAIN 😁 We are delighted to announce one more addition to our Dallas 4-H and Extension Team, Cara Kailukaitis. Cara has an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Dallas County Community College, and she is working in her Psychology Degree at UT Permian Basin.
Cara is excited to be the new 4-H Grows Program Coordinator for Dallas 4-H. As a homeschool teacher, she has seen the power of learning by doing firsthand. She applied these principles to her co-op teaching positions and to her life by gaining youth education certifications. She spent many years as a 4-H parent raising and volunteer two Clover kids into senior and intermediate members. As a 4-H project leader in Shooting Sports-Pistol and Photography projects, she has been preparing youth to take aim and shoot for the stars. Welcome Cara πŸ˜€

Some of us joined Dallas County Tumbleweeds 4-H Club for a community service event at a Richardson retirement home. The kids displayed their animals and projects and socialized with the residents. The clover kids decorated bags for food distribution to our unsheltered neighbors in downtown Dallas. The residents really enjoyed petting the animals and chatting with the kids. Everyone had a great time.
