Happy Laborless Day! Leadership Lambda Toastmasters Crazy Debate Topics meeting was a smashing success! Thanks to all who attended virtually and participated in such compelling topics as:
"A Hotdog is NOT Really a Sandwich."
"Early Birds are Better than Night Owls."
"It is not Appropriate to Wear Socks with Sandals."
Our smile muscles were sore from laughing so much!
Our next meeting this Monday will be in-person AND Virtual. See you there!
“What I Did (or Didn’t) Do on My Summer Vacation” was the theme for this week’s meeting! After everyone in attendance, including our Table Topics Master, gave a vacation-related Table Topics answer, David won Best Table Topics while Jamila won Best Evaluator and Scott won Best Speaker!
Our theme was “Road Trip!” for this week’s Leadership Lambda Toastmasters meeting! Congrats to all the folks who won ribbons and thank you to our members and guests who made the “excursion” in coming out to our meeting!
Another "stellar" Toastmasters meeting at Leadership Lambda! Sai, our Toastmaster for the evening, facilitated the meeting using the topic of "Space".

Scott was our toastmaster at this week’s meeting and talked about Summer Fun! Sai gave us a rundown about Pickleball and Danni gave us an impromptu lesson on how to tackle planning a speech. Nancy evaluated Sai while Seldon performed double duty by evaluating Danni and the meeting as a whole. Congrats to both our ribbon winners and Scott, who won a Club President Award!

Leadership Lambda Toastmasters had an exceptional meeting this week. Mario was our toastmaster and was anything but lethargic while giving us fun facts about naps and their benefits! Seldon delivered an enthralling speech that was further enhanced by his visuals and Scott kept us laughing with Tim’s Top Three Travel Tips To Avoid Terrible Trips…With Scott. As an evaluator, Steve used the PIE method to Praise, Instruct, and Encourage Seldon and we all did a round robin of evaluations for Scott. Stephanie led the Table Topics and Eva wrapped things up as our General Meeting Evaluator.
“Invisible Hand” was the theme for our meeting this past Monday. After a rare occurrence where nearly everyone in attendance was given a Table Topics question, Jamila was voted Best Table Topics and won Best Speaker, while Eva won Best Evaluator.
For the 10th year in a row, we met the goals to be the highest level of a Distinguished club. Come visit us to see how we do it year after year!
