Throwback! 🎉 Since 1987, Our Friends Place has been making a profound difference in the lives of women, empowering them to become change agents for themselves and our community. With over 36 years dedicated to creating safe spaces and opportunities for growth, we continue to uplift women and walk alongside them as they realize their full potential.

At Our Friends Place, we believe in empowering young women toward self-sufficiency and independence. Our SOAR to Success program offers trauma-informed care, life skills education, and comprehensive support through four key components:

1️⃣ SOAR: Discovery: Life skills education in middle and high schools
2️⃣ SOAR: Workshops: Research-based workshops formalized for larger groups, these sessions are experiential and rely on activities.
3️⃣ SOAR: Adult Allies: Research-based workshops to educate staff at other agencies, businesses, and adults who impact and influence the lives of the youth we serve in our community.
4️⃣ SOAR: Taking Flight: A 20-hour research-based, experiential curriculum for individuals who live in daily instability.
