Last year, the City of Dallas - City Hall proclaimed July 24 as "Santos Rodriguez Day" honoring the memory of Santos Rodriguez, a 12-year-old Mexican-American boy who was killed by a Dallas police officer in 1973.

The photos shared are from the 2022 Public Art ceremony that was held for the statue of Rodriguez where the community gathered to collectively reflect and honor Santos Rodriguez.
