FOL’s Camp Lakewood Spring 2024 takes us out to the astonishing cool Grady Spruce campground! We take over the camp for a weekend and enjoy the cabins that rest along the shores of Possum Kingdom Lake. Take a short boat ride over to Hells Gate and hike to the top or enjoy a slow horseback ride or even a zoom down a zip line! It’s going to be an amazing weekend. Emma is headed to Southwestern in Georgetown and Sydney is headed to Arkansas. Congratulations girls!

Camp Lakewood is back and I love this year’s shirt design. The growth rings of the tree symbolize consecutive campouts, with one large ring removed (the Covid year). Shoutout to James Wilson for this awesome design.

CAMP LAKEWOOD IS BACK!

Come out and join us for our annual Camp Lakewood Fall event, a Dad/Child fundraising weekend campout. Fall 2021 campout will be at Collin County Adventure Camp on Friday, Sept 10 to Sunday, Sept 12, 2021.

Swimming pool, zip lines, canoes, archery, fishing, hiking and more! Will be an awesome weekend of fun with your fellow Lakewood dads and kids! Collin County Adventure Camp is an amazing place to spend the weekend with your child. Just a short 50 mile drive up Central Expressway!

All registered kids will receive a FREE Camp Lakewood T-Shirt. (specify t-shirt size at registration). Dads shirts are available for purchase at registration.
The campout is open to all Lakewood boys and girls in grades K-5 and child will need to be accompanied by a Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, etc.. We will assign cabins by gender and grade. All cabins will be full of Lakewood kids and Dads. We sell out quick, so sign up early.

This has become an annual Fall tradition and one of the main fundraiser events for FOL. We rely on your support for events like these to provide the educational programming, physical activities, and capital improvements that make the educational experience at our schools second to none.
