Welcome to our Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep interns, Makx, Damien, Miguel, and Jacob! These four students will be helping CCD in a variety of ways throughout the school year and, in turn, will receive experience working in social services. Today, they got to know CCD through orientation and a tour of our Central Service Center. We are grateful for their help and excited for them to join our team!

With school starting back up this week, summer internships are coming to a close here at CCD. Today, we said farewell to our Marketing & Communications intern, Avery, who has played an invaluable role serving on our Development Team this summer. Last weekend, Chris Porter and his friends enjoyed a "Guys' Night Out" with Fr. Edwin at Derby Restaurant, Dallas. Francisco Arias, a certified Cigar Sommelier Tobacconist, hosted a top-shelf whiskey tasting complete with premium ci**rs for the group. What a fun evening!

Thank you to all those who volunteered at our food boxing project on Saturday! With the help of 60 amazing volunteers, we packed 900 boxes with 15,665 pounds of food in 1 hour! Several incredible groups from around the community participated, including YCP Dallas, Christ the King Catholic Church - Dallas Kingsmen, Notre Dame Alumni Association, Church of Jesus Christ in North Texas, and the middle school families from St. Ann Catholic Parish. Thank you for helping us feed families in need! 💛
