Hendrick Scholarship Foundation
We help PISD graduates who have experienced adversity succeed in college and life. We have served 350+ students over our tenure, with 53 currently enrolled.
While only 12% of students in this demographic attain a 4 year degree in the state of Texas, more than 35% of students in our program succeed. And many more attain a 2 year degree. Our success is due to the emphasis on supporting these deserving young people with services, skills training and coaches/mentors throughout the typically 5 year journey. The Hendrick program is more than a degree, we are changing lives and communities!
Welcome to your new position SFMG Wealth Advisors!!
SFMG has always been proud to serve Hendrick, being our presenting sponsors for TASTE in 2023 and 2024, and making up a few of our coaches, being a part of our finance committee, and contributing to our board of directors. This fiscal year we are excited to have them as our annual sponsors! Thank you for your continued support of our mission.
Thank you to Sirius Plumbing and Air Conditioning for sponsoring our new Hendrick Scholarship Foundation t-shirts! The students loved them!
This past Saturday we got to host our largest Freshman Orientation! Thank you to everyone who participated and a big shout out to our sponsors. We learned a lot, brought together students and coaches, and enjoyed a tasty lunch from Newk's. We're so excited to start this journey with our 2024 Cohort!
Nancy and Don Boyd dedicated their time to making education accessible to everyone. From her years of dedication to PISD and their time spent Hendrick and the student success program, Nancy and Don embodied generosity in everything they did.
We here at Hendrick keep that generosity alive through the Nancy and Don Boyd Forever Scholarship, their name scholarship that aims to keep the spirit of their dedication to students and education in perpetual motion. We could all take inspiration from their lifetime dedication to education.
