SoupMobile Church is the ‘HOME’ church for the homeless in Dallas, Texas. It’s a unique church like no other! It’s got its own ‘in-house’ retro 50’s style Diner, a phone booth with a ‘Hotline’ to God, Dogs are always welcome, and we roll out an actual Red Carpet every Sunday for our homeless members--just like at the Academy Awards. The SoupMobile proudly displays the 10 Commandments on our property! Why? Because in today's ‘new world’, it seems everyone is afraid to post them for fear of offending someone. And baby was it ever cold--12 degrees with a wind chill well below zero! PRAYER REQUEST: This is a continuing prayer request for David Dixon & his wife Beata. We’ve been reporting to you about them for the past year. David is a longtime staffer at the SoupMobile and is also the primary caregiver for his wife Beata. She has struggled with liver & kidney issues for many years but now she is literally fighting for life. She requires a ‘rare’ transplant called a ‘multivisceral transplant.’ The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio is one of the few places in the world equipped for this type of surgery. David & Beata are at the end of their rope. The transplant is their last hope to save Beata’s life. Needless to say, there are a host of expenses associated with this endeavor including travel, lodging, living expenses and more! I’ve known David & Beata for many years & I can & do vouch for them. They are hard-working God-fearing people who Love the Lord. With Christmas fast approaching, I’m asking you to open your hearts AND your pocketbooks to help them. If you are one of the more than #150 people who have already given, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am beyond grateful and pray that the Lord will bless you for your kind & giving heart.
