A look at our recent project in Moraine. 👀

What started as a vision for expanding the kitchen turned into a much bigger first level remodel.😄

The Jacoby family are hard workers and they were ready to have a sanctuary to come home to at the end of the day. We blew out an exterior wall in the kitchen and added a ton of additional real estate for better flow and much needed storage and prep space. We gutted the bathroom and the closet and started over to better utilize the available square footage and created a layout that made more sense for their lifestyle.

We used a lot of muted nature-inspired colors to create grounded and calming spaces with plenty of storage and functionality.

These homeowners fell in love with their beautiful home’s park-like setting but the interior layout left something to be desired. When we first met with them, they had grand visions of busting out some walls and creating a more open and functional flow.

By removing the wall between the kitchen and the formal dining room (which apparently was being used as a exercise/sitting room 🙃😂), we could increase the footprint of the kitchen and give function to a space that wasn’t being used. What do you think?

🤎This guest bathroom was project #1 for a wonderful couple who decided last year that their home was due for some updating. Later this summer we’ll be transforming their home’s first impression areas (entry, study and dining room), and we can’t wait to infuse those spaces with personality. 🤗

Pattern🫶🏼

Pattern tile is a great way to introduce some visual interest and personality into a space. Whether your personality is soft and friendly, bold and eccentric, or trendy and cool 😎 there’s an option out there you can use to put that personality on display.

Looking back on this project and still loving that backsplash and countertop combo. 🤩

We had gotten called in on this project to complete the master bathroom after another contractor had started it very unsuccessfully and a second contractor who was working on the rest of the house was proving to not meet the customer’s standards. When that second contractor was unable to do the finish work adequately in the kitchen, the customer turned to us and asked us to redo the crown, build out the peninsula seating area, and help them with countertops and backsplash. 

We also did a paint technique to bring the wood beams back to a stained wood color in the family room after they had been covered in ceiling paint overspray by the other contractor.

In the end, we were happy to be able to help this sweet family get their new house move-in-ready so they could ditch the remodeling life and get back to normalcy.
