Congratulations Captain Storey (third from left), our latest Leadership Dekalb graduate! Captain Storey was always returning from his sessions commenting on how moving and enlightening they were, so we know he learned a lot throughout the journey!

We really appreciated the great turnout for our Narcan training event at Legacy Park with Decatur prevention initiative! Congratulations to the attendees who won the Narcan and challenge coin! Also a sincere thank you to everyone for helping to put up the chairs, that was above and beyond!
Throughout the summer, we will have one of our vehicles parked in front of station one featuring this digital thermometer with a probe inside the car. As you pass the station, take a moment to notice why animals and children can never be left in a car for ANY amount of time.
We had a great CPR class at The Artisan today, thanks to a group of residents who reached out to us to make sure they were trained to respond in the event of a cardiac arrest!

When Sergeant Bussey is off duty, she stays in top firefighting shape by lifting trees in the forest. This is a rest day so she’s going a little bit lighter.
