Pretty, Vacant Woman: Solo Exhibition by Kodi Delaney

Kodi is a mixed media artist who creates artwork that discusses the complexities of mental illness, disability and trauma. As a victim of childhood abuse, Kodi has become an advocate through her artwork and social media presence for other survivors, and her evocative portraiture dives into the raw emotions and symptoms associated with CPTSD, depression and anxiety.

Both a visual artist and a writer, Kodi creates an all encompassing narrative with her exhibitions by bringing the viewer in to look deeper into how art can induce healing and reflection.

Join us next Friday to celebrate Kodi's 3rd solo exhibition at our gallery on Santa Fe Dr!

Calling all Colorado artists, RemainReal Fine Art is currently still accepting entries for our June supporting classroom exhibition under the theme "Mental Health"!

Our submissions are FREE, with the only payment being a 40% commission on all art that is sold during the show!

Our featured artist is a local mixed media artist who creates large-scale collages that discuss her own internal struggles with CPTSD and childhood trauma. Her evocative exhibition, "Pretty, Vacant Woman" is an exploration of the themes of how mental health is reflected in society, and how the portrayal of women in popular media takes it's toll on their mental health over time.

*We encourage art of all formats including painting, drawing, print-making, traditional photography and sculpture! We will not accept any digital illustrations or anything made utilizing an AI prompting software.

Hello Denver artists! I work for RemainReal Fine Art on Santa Fe Dr, and we are offering a comprehensive 6-week workshop for artists looking to have a career in galleries!
We currently have 2 different class offerings on our Eventbrite, with 10 seats open for each!
Our art gallery specializes in emerging and new career artists, and because of that we have seen many artists submitting work for our gallery that are making some huge mistakes in their submissions and marketing, and we believe that these mistakes could potentially be affecting their careers without them even realizing!

There are even things that could get an artist blacklisted from a gallery, and they won't know why they can't get their art in! So, we developed a full course to teach artists how to correctly demonstrate professionalism in the art world!

This is an in-person course, and each week we will be teaching something different!
Here are a few things you'll learn:
1. How to professionally frame and wire your own artwork.
2. How to hang your artwork to the gallery standards
3. How to market yourself through social media and set up a compelling website
4. How to network with galleries and artists (and what NOT to do) 5. How to write an effective artist statement AND MORE!

Huge congratulations to for an amazing first Friday opening! Already she has sold around 1/4 of all her artwork and there's plenty more to be shared with enthusiastic collectors!

Sarah is an encaustic painter who resides locally here in Denver! She creates beautiful landscapes by melting wax onto wood panel and scraping and carving into it.

Her debut solo exhibition, "Escapism" translates the concept of "daydreaming" and "escape" into the use of encaustic medium to delve into the many emotional and physical layers Sarah connects to within these places.

Much like the ever-changing landscapes she depicts, Sarah does not work with a strict plan, but uses a layering process that embraces chance and change. This body of work is loosely based on real places recounted from her time in the Midwest, West, and Southwest areas of the country. Rarely does Sarah reference real photos. Instead, these images live in her memory, waiting for her to recreate them the way she remembers them.

Celeste Rose is a Wisconsin-raised, Denver-based singer-songwriter who has a tendency to sing about country roads, stars, whiskey and daydreaming. Her writing puts you in the scene – whether that be staying in a haunted lighthouse or having nightmares that your teeth are falling out – you’re right there with her. Celeste released her first single, “Lines,” in April, 2020, and her debut EP “Part-Time” followed soon after in July, 2021. Her latest release, "Running With The Wolves," came out in March 2023.
