The Salolampi Foundation holds an adult work weekend every fall and spring to support CLV on stewardship of the Salolampi Finnish Language Village Site. Examples of tasks we perform include:

🎨 Painting and staining
🌷 Outdoor work around cabins & buildings including gardening and yard work
🪓 Forest care and chainsawing, firewood
📷 Digitizing and scanning documents and photos
🧹 Washing, dusting and general cleaning

This year, the spring work weekend is from May 17-19 at the Salolampi Finnish Language Village Site at Turtle River Lake in Bemidji. It is run by our board member, Paavo Taipale, and John Juhani Laitinen, both of whom are former Salolampi staff members.
