It's National Nurses Week! In 2023, our team of S*xual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) spent 6,277 hours on-call, ready to respond when victim-survivors were ready for care. With unwavering dedication, they provide high-quality medical forensic examinations to support victim-survivors on their journey towards healing. Thank you, SANEs!

April 21-27 is National Volunteer Week! In 2023, 50 PAVSA volunteers collectively covered over 11,000 hours of on-call time for our helpline and hospital response. Our 24-hour services are possible because of their engagement and dependability. Thank you, volunteers!

THIS FRIDAY: After sexual assault happens, victim-survivors have the option to receive medical care and typically their most common questions is “Am I OK?” Join Holly Olson, RN, SANE-A and Alaine Ripley, RN, SANE-A as they discuss medical options following sexual assault, including the option to receive a medical forensic exam.
This webinar will include where to go, explanation of consent, elements of the medical forensic exam, and what providing patient-centered care looks like. Presenters Holly Olson and Alaine Ripley have been practicing as S*xual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) with the PAVSA SANE Program for 8 years.

Pop over to our building on April 10th from 1-3pm to one-time, pop-up free store with an option for on-site STI testing by WE Health Clinic!
