Celtic Judoka left day 2 of the Eurometropole Masters Championships in Mouvaux France bloodied and battered. Jose Marte lost two Golden Score (overtime) matches, including one that went nearly 8 minutes, to French opponents. Wayne Dickinson won his first match vs FRA by waza ari but lost the semifinal vs FRA by waza ari. Adding injury to insult, Wayne couldn’t even answer the bell for the Bronze Medal match.

Day 1 of the Eurometropole Masters in Mouvaux 🇫🇷 With some of our USA Judo brethren. CJC’s Keen Xu fought in his first international shiai. No medal, but great effort & judo spirit. USA’s Miguel Diaz took 🥇in the M3 81kg category. The action continues on Sunday 🥋
