Presbytery of Northwest Coast - PCUSA
We are a region of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in NW Washington, Eastern Washington and SE Alaska.
This SATURDAY!! The Acme Presbyterian Church Clothing Bank is open from 10-noon. Come see what treasures YOU might find! Everyone is welcome!
Decolonizing Christmas - The Presbyterian Outlook Kelle J. Brown shares how her church uses a gold Christ candle instead of a white one. “Our need for [traditional symbols] should never outweigh our pursuit for inclusion,” she writes.
Join us for Messy Church tonight from 5:30 to 7 pm. We'll be decorating pretzels, constructing Advent wreaths, making Christmas cards, and much more in the Activity Center. All are welcome - Supper is included.
Enter this holy night and the mystery of the season as we celebrate the eve of our Lord’s birth.
Bring your extended family, neighbors and friends as we wonder at the gift God gave our world in giving us himself. Candle-light will again bring our evening worship to a close in recalling that silent, holy night when all was calm and all was bright and Christ our Savior was born.
Pastors Retreat
All serving Pastors and spouses in the Presbytery are invited to join us for our Pastors Retreat, Jan 4-6, 2024 at the Rosario Beach Marine Laboratory near Anacortes. Check-in will start at 3pm on Thursday and the retreat will be done at noon on Saturday. It will be 45 hours of reflection, refreshment, and relaxing. Our own Dave Rohrer will be leading us in some gathered reflection and there will be the requisite dumb games. Other than that there will be a lot of time to recharge in whatever way you recharge.
