Handle With Care

I’ve recently deduced that support does not merely mean - to encourage. It also means: to hold up, to endorse, advocate, and assist (among other things). It is all the more meaningful when it’s unexpected. I so appreciate all of my supporters! It simply validates that I have the right people in my corner and that I’m building a solid foundation to construct my organization upon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Every year close to 150 children are placed within the Sherburne County Foster Care System. That’s roughly the equivalent of an entire grade of elementary school-aged kids within our adjoining districts.

These same children are often asked to utilize a garbage bag to quickly throw their personal items into before their placement into Foster Care. This sends a damaging message to these children who are already experiencing a trauma.

Consider donating a new or used backpack or luggage today. Let’s embrace the most precious and vulnerable members of our community, together.

You may be surprised to learn the reasons why most children are removed from their homes is due to neglect. In any situation it absolutely NEVER the child’s fault.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been working on a lot of things behind the scenes. Including but not limited to; Reaching out to local organizations to help facilitate a luggage drive. Purchasing more advertising and researching local vendor events. Definitely lots of projects in motion. I can’t thank everyone enough for the continued support.
