NEW PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT!
Since 2019, Open Doors has been providing easy access to free, low-barrier therapy, in a space that is welcoming and familiar for our youth.
Sara Fromm has been instrumental in helping us build this critical program from the ground up, and has offered scheduled, walk-in, or telehealth appointments using a unique and trauma-responsive approach. At this time, Sara is ready to step away from direct therapy and transition to other types of work for Open Doors.
With this transition, we express our deepest gratitude for the hard work and the HEART work that Sara has poured into the mental health program at ODFY,
AND,
We are thrilled to announce a NEW partnership with Main Street Family Services to continue providing mental health services to the youth we serve at Open Doors!
We welcome therapists Drew Worthing and Monica Blaske (back and right, in photo), who will offer therapy at the center and through outreach to our partnering school districts. Drew and Monica are skilled therapists and have experience using modalities that are particularly helpful for youth experiencing homelessness.
Many thanks to Julie Schultz, Executive Director, Char McDonald, Clinic Manager, (also pictured), and Tiffany Gross (behind the camera) for their flexibility, collaborative spirit, and for making this transition as seamless as possible.
We’re so excited to see where this new partnership takes us!
Meet Our Therapist, Crystal!
"Hi! I am Crystal Wimpfheimer, a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) providing mental health therapy at Main Street. Like so many of us, I have been through my own mental health struggles and found a path to wellness. I love partnering with others to find what works for them! I approach sessions from a place of curiosity, genuine interest, and non-judgement. I bring in a variety of therapy tools and theories and encourage feedback from clients. One size does not fit all when it comes to mental health therapy, and I am willing to partner with people to find the path that will bring healing for them. There is hope that can be found in connecting with others, and I feel grateful to be able to offer that hope!"
- Crystal Wimpfheimer, LGSW

Meet Our Therapist, Monica!
"My name is Monica Blaske and I am a licensed graduate social worker (LGSW), providing clinical mental health therapy. I pride myself on meeting people where they are at and find it humbling to be able to provide support around what they want to work on. I understand that we are human, and as humans we all have struggles, and sometimes those struggles need a little extra help.
I graduated from Walden University with my bachelor’s degree in social work and then continued to complete my master’s degree in social work, graduating this past February 2024.
I currently provide psychotherapy and psychoeducation to individuals and families, from age 6 into adulthood. I use a variety of therapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, DBT, and most recently was trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
When I’m not working, I enjoy being a mom and wife while spending days outside, just relaxing, or camping."
-Monica Blaske, LGSW
To schedule an appointment with Monica, please go to our website www.mainstreetfamilyservices.org or call our office at 763-595-1420.
Meet Our Therapist, Andrew!
"As a therapist, I think it’s important to validate what you experience and where you are at. Life is hard and it can be helpful to know that you are seen. I also find it important to help people explore and change unhelpful stories they’ve started to believe about themselves.
I graduated in 2018 with my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University. I spent the first part of my career working mostly with people in the legal system, which grew my passion and belief in the power of people. I believe people can be shaped by where they come from, and everyone has the potential to grow beyond their challenges.
I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). When working with couples, I primarily use the Gottman Couples Therapy approach. This focuses on helping couples build or rediscover appreciation and admiration while exploring new ways to communicate to help each other feel seen and heard.
I joined Main Street in December 2023, and am excited to help individuals, couples, and families in our community recognize their strengths.
When I am not working, I enjoy playing music to relax, trying a new recipe, and keeping up with my busy one-year-old."
- Andew Worthing, LMFT
