Lyssa's Senior Capstone

Earlier this week I was able to drop off all the toy donations for my senior capstone! I would like to thank everyone who has donated, you truly helped me make this drive a success! I collected over 260 toys, which is sa total value of $2,653.77! I was shocked by these results when I was boxing up and logging everything! When I went to drop everything off the staff was amazing and they were surprised of how much we had for them, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to do this for Childrenś Hospital Minnesota. Again, thank you everyone who has donated!

A little bit more information about me and my project!

Hi everyone, my name is Lyssa Gutierrez. I am a senior at spectrum high school. As a senior we take a class called senior capstone where we work/partner with a organization to help bring awareness. I chose Children’s Hospital Minnesota, because what they do means so much to me. I am currently taking PSEO to get a head start on my nursing career, and I one day dream to work for children’s as a pediatric nurse! Children’s is an independent, non-profit system, and they rely on donations and the generosity of the community. Donations allow Children’s Hospital to provide the best care possible to their patients.

From now until October 25th I will be collecting donations for Children’s. In the comment section I have included the list of all items needed, and all items must be new and unused.
