Local service club There are over 700 Exchange Clubs throughout the US, Lake Agassiz is one of three clubs in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community.
For over 100 years, members volunteer efforts have supported the needs of the country and of local communities, making it the country’s oldest American service organization operating exclusively in this country.
Tonight we had a summer social at Suite Shots! A fun evening socializing & celebrating the past year. 🎉🎉
Club members and a few guests spent the afternoon at the Great Plains Food Bank today!!! Fun times!

Today some of our members had a great time volunteering at HERO, Healthcare Equipment Recycling Organization !

Fun volunteer event last Thursday, club members spent some time at Hope Blooms. They get donations of flowers, predominantly from funerals, that we break down into smaller displays. Flowers are then taken to senior housing facilities, schools and shelters.

At last weeks meeting we recognized Josh Hahn as our newest member and donated $1,000 to the Fargo Park District with funds raised through our annual golf tournament. Funds are directed at handicapped accessible equipment and programing.
Great meeting this week, we recognized our 2018-2019 club President Jeremy Ulmer for his service and also had a great presentation from Fargo Park District Interim Director Dave Leker and presented a $1,000 check in support of park youth programming.
Club members participated in the Police Community Picnic this week at Island Park in downtown Fargo. Over 1000 US flags were handed out to kids!!!

Our My Day In Court Program is our featured service project. We've been doing it over 30 years!!! Getting all metro 5th graders into district court observing arraignments and touring the jail. We love the program and the thanks we get from students, teachers and parents.
Our YMCA is collecting items for a supply drive for the Sioux-YMCA, based out of Dupree, SD, which operates recreational, educational and camping programs that serve underprivileged youth and families living on and near the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. We are asking for your help in gathering any of the supplies listed below. Donations may be dropped off at either Fercho or Schlossman Branch between now and Monday, April 29. Thank you for your consideration!

Club President Jeremy Ulmer was pleased to provide a check for $1,000 to Fargo Park District Executive Director Joel Vettel, funds were raised at the Club's annual golf tournament and will be directed at various youth activities of the park District.
