In contrast to perfection, wholeness helps us take responsibility for our decisions. It cultivates in us the ideals of forgiveness and humility and more importantly, it helps us embrace the process without fixating over the results.
Moreover, the pursuit of perfection makes us oblivious, while seeking wholeness brings us self-awareness and the value of just being 😊😌
What do you want to manifest? What do you want to create? Who do you want to become? Reflect and ask yourself these questions often.
Sometimes we can feel like we're stuck in a situation with no escape. Though we might not be able to control what's happening around us, we can still control our mind and how we react. Be mindful and intentional about your thoughts! 💡💭
Sometimes, we don't think we deserve opportunities to be great. We might tell ourselves we're not capable; talking ourselves out of an opportunity.
Well I'm here to tell you that YOU ARE WORTHY. Stop asking for permission to think for yourself. Stop asking for permission to pursue what make you happy & healthy. YOU ARE VALID. 🤗😀
According to the National Science Foundation, an average person has between 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts. If we repeat those negative thoughts, we’re thinking negative thoughts much more than we’re thinking positive thoughts.
Negative thinking is what holds most people back from achieving any real measure of success in life, because our thoughts create our reality. 🤔💭
The good news is, when you change your thoughts, you can change your reality! The thoughts you choose to focus on will determine how you experience the world.
Come level up by building your Résumé’s & CV’s tomorrow @4:30pm 🔥💯
Your destiny is controlled by your choices. Like a ship in the sea, you control your destination. The question now is "where do you want to go?" Not many people instantly know the answer to this question. Some let the sea take them wherever and later wonder how they got there 🤔
Ask yourself: Where would you like to go? What would you like to see and experience? Once you've answered them, know that they are possible - based on the choices you make. The world is yours! 💭⛵
When was the last time you made a mistake? In a previous we explored the helpfulness of failure. When we make a mistake, this also opens a whole new world of creative problem solving!
Being able to come up with solutions is highly valued, academically & professionally. So don't be afraid to make mistakes, they strengthen your problem-solving skills! 🧠💭💡
Mark your calendars and Come join us this Wednesday in Finessing Financial Literacy! It’s going to be lit 🔥you don’t want to miss it 🤑 see you there!
There is no greater investment than self growth. I know sometimes we can feel anxious or wondering "when will I have my glow-up?" especially when we're comparing our lives to our peers on social media.
Trust the process, patience is a virtue. I like to think of myself as a late bloomer, and I'm okay with that. Taking your time to invest in yourself and your happiness stimilates growth! 🌱🌳😊
Having a sense of self-worth means that you value yourself, and having a sense of self-value means that you are worthy. Only YOU can define your self-worth!
How do you increase your self-worth?
💎Identify What You're Talented At
💎Forgive Your Shortcomings
💎Take Risks & Try New Things
💎Accept Yourself & Strive For Self-Improvement (Not Perfection)
💎Surround Yourself With Healthy, Supportive People
Repeat after me: I am worthy of all things good! I am destined for greatness!
Remember in elementary school writing 5 times each until your hand cramped in pain? Though it might have been grueling and took a lot time, it was the repetition that helped you remember how to spell those vocabulary words.
Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you REPEAT those affirmations to yourself, you're literally rewiring your mind to think differently. And when you think differently, you'll start to act differently. It's all about mindset baby! 😉💡🧠💯
From a young age, we are taught that failing is bad, and is something to fear. Failure might seem intimidating, but I like to think of failure as a learning lesson. Here are some ways failure actually help you:
🏀Failure keeps your ego in check
🏀Failure inspires positive change
🏀Failure gives you a new perspective
🏀Overcoming failure teaches resilience (GRIT)
🏀Failure teaches you what you want (and don’t want)
King James said it best. We should use failure to learn, grow, & succeed! 🌱🏆
If you've encountered those deep burning questions about yourself, know that YOU already have the answers. Life will continue to reveal those things about yourself, ultimately creating who you are destined to be! Worry not and move confidently! 😉✨
