Arkansas Water Resources Center
The AWRC is part of a network of water centers across the United States, and our mission is to facilitate research that addresses our state's water issues.
AWRC is part of a network of 54 water institutes. In cooperation with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the National Institute for Water Resources (NIWR), the center has helped local, state and federal agencies manage Arkansas' water resources for more than 30 years.

The abstract submission deadline for the Joint Water Resources Conference has been extended to May 13!
The National Institutes for Water Resources is sponsoring travel awards for undergraduate and graduate students to attend the joint UCOWR/ NIWR/ AWRA conference. Two students per NIWR region will be selected at random. Awards will range from $1,200 to $2,500 depending on the region and will be awarded as a direct payment stipend. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 31, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
