In a heartwarming ceremony, Meredith received her framed diploma for a master's degree in social work, surrounded by over 30 children she teaches at a church in Searcy. Alishia Ferguson, director of the social work program, presented the diploma to Meredith. The children cheered for "Miss Meredith," and so did we! ๐๐

๐ Meet Candice Groves, the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed French and journalism teacher at Blytheville High School! โ๏ธ After just returning from a trip to Europe with her students, Candice attended her presentation full of energy. She had previously tried to earn a master's degree but found the on-campus program too inflexible. Thanks to the U of A's online program, she successfully earned her master's in educational technology. ๐
Candice decided to go for it when COVID-19 pushed more teaching online. "I also learned so much from being an online student that helps me in my teaching," she said. ๐ฉโ๐ซ๐
๐ Congrats to Heather Lucius of Osceola, a dedicated special education teacher! ๐ Joined by Superintendent Mike Cox, Assistant Superintendent Shantele R***r of the Rivercrest School District, and her supportive colleagues, family, and friends in Wilson (Mississippi County), Heather celebrated her masterโs degree in special education. ๐
Heather received a grant to help students with special needs transition from school to adult life and earned a graduate certificate in that specialization. ๐ One of her impactful projects was a resource map to guide families in finding essential services.

Kylan works as a resource conservationist for the USDA, covering several offices in south-central Arkansas. He shared that time management is crucial in an online degree program. โMy planner was my best friend,โ Kylan said.
His favorite class? Leadership principles! โI learned new skills about how to be a leader,โ Kylan said. โThere is more than one way to be a leader.โ

Jennifer Miller of DeWitt has received her framed diploma for a bachelorโs degree in interdisciplinary studies! The diploma was presented by Alishia Ferguson on behalf of the social work program in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
Jennifer is a peer support specialist for the Arkansas County Circuit Court and works at Kellyโs On the Square. She is a two-time winner of the Global Campusโ Manning Scholarship for online learners and will start her masterโs degree in the fall.

The Razorbug Diploma Tour rolled into Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville on Tuesday morning to honor engineer Jordan Baumberger. Phil Jones from the College of Engineering presented Jordan with his Master of Science in Operations Management diploma.
Jordan kick-started his journey with an online graduate certificate in project management, which led him to pursue the online MSOM. This dedication paid off with a promotion to a project management position!
As a dad of two, Jordan valued the 100% online program. โLuckily, they go to bed early, so 8 oโclock was my time to work on courses, and weekends during naptime. My wife, who has her masterโs, was really happy I pursued my higher education. She understood what it took to do it.โ
