Jacqueline Nyetipei Kiplimo did something that stunned the world during the 2010 Zheng-Kai Marathon when she witnessed a disabled competitor struggling to drink water who was a double amputee. Instead of seeing her moment to run ahead of this struggling athelete, she ran along side of him from the 6.2 mile mark to the 23 mile mark (10km mark to the 38km mark), helping him drink water at all of the watering stations. The aide that she so compassionately provided her fellow competitor slowed her run time down and caused her to lose her first place position and place 2nd in the race — costing her the win and the $10,000 cash prize.

Jacqueline Nyetipei Kiplimo showed the world that day that to her, being compassionate and helping one another was more important than winning a race that she had been preparing for her entire life.

Now this is what a true leader looks like, one that never leaves someone disadvantaged behind.

Can you make someone smile today?
One of the greatest feelings in life is seeing someone thanking God because you ,because you came through for them ,because you are their answered prayer, because you impacted their lives and made them smile.

A Chicago teen kept breaking into the X-Sport Fitness Center and using its equipment. Management warned him they were going to turn him. But he kept finding ways to get into the place. Police were finally called in to deal with it.
Officer Mario Valenti learned that the 15-year-old previously had a membership to the facility, but his mother could no longer afford to pay for it. And all he wanted to do was play basketball there. But instead of charging the youngster with breaking and entering, the officer handed over $150 of his own money to buy the boy a membership that would last about 4 months.
When the owner of the fitness center contacted his corporate office about what was happening, officials there were so touched by the officer’s kindness, that they extended the youngster’s membership for two years.
Says Officer Valenti: “At the end of the day, it’s not about gratitude. Most of us took this job to help people, not to hurt them. The job can be negative. For the most part, the job is dealing with good people having a very bad day, so you’re not seeing the best side of people…. I’d rather have him playing ball than being on the street and possibly getting into trouble.”

Survival takes Strength

Streams of Hope Stories ♥️

As I was walking in safeway grocery store, minding my business, a faintly voice ahead of me ask, "are this sodas buy 2 get 2 free?a man asked, I looked at the sodas and the on-sale poster on them and I said "yes it's seems like"
The man then came closer to me and ask if we could share the cost and buy 2 and get 2 free, by the look of things,
The man was homeless, hungry and tired,
I immediately say said yes and told him to take anything else he might be needing, He took water and food and I took a few stuffs for myself and headed to check out.

On the checking out line, I asked him his name, where he's from and where he lived,
He said he has been homeless for the last 7 years, he sleeps in his car.
I felts so sad.

"Are you local " he asked and continued that no one has ever shown him such kindness. I told him that today was your day to receive blessings and I cheered him up.

We packed all the things we bought and I told him I will drop him off.He was so surprised,he asked "you mean you gonna drop me where i leftmy car"? I said "yes". He got in the car and started touching everything and said, ooh such a nice car,I feel like a VIP, I just laughed 😅.
He then said," OMG my sister you are blessed"
I said Amen.

I dropped him off and I gave him my card.
Incase he needed something like food or water he could call me.

I didn't receive a call for about a week ,I expected him to call me and tell me how he is doing, but didn't.I went looking for him where I had dropped him previous week, I was so happy to see his car 🚗,i thought he was there but unfortunately he wasn't, felt really sad.
I went home praying that God will see him through.
The following day, I went looking for him, he wasn't there either. I left a note 📝 on his car and my phone number incase he had misplaced the card i gave him, that he should call me when he sees it.

Day's later, my phone rings,
Guess who is on the other line, my new homeless friend, sigh of relief that was. He has been okey and he had gotten a car from his brother, he asked to see me so that he can thank me. We met at the same grocery stores we first met. He hugged 🤗 me in tears and said very prophetic words over my life.
I fuelled his car and said my goodbyes and went my way,he waved and watched me leave with a big smile on his face.

Don't ever get tired of doing good, God is watching.

Rest well YOUR MAJESTY THE QUEEN .

09/08/2022

Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's longest-reigning monarch, has died at the age of 96, Buckingham Palace announced.
From ABC News:
With the queen's death come questions about what happens next, as the world has not witnessed a changeover in Britain's monarchy in 70 years.

Her eldest son, Charles, the Prince of Wales, succeeds her as king. His wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is expected to become queen consort.

Charles's eldest son, Prince William, is now heir to the throne.

On the Stream of Hope Stories,
All he wanted was some cold Strawberry milk,
A homeless man that I see every evening while going home from work. Today after church I decided to go look for him,I almost gave up but I finally found him seated covering himself with his blanket, for sure my spirit knew he is the one am looking for even before I saw his face.
To my surprise, his eyes were swollen and Watery,I asked him what he would want to eat and he said he didn't want to eat anything but would like some Strawberry milk.
He informed me before I leave to get the Strawberry milk that he doesn't feel too well, however didn't want to go to the ER.
I went and got the Strawberry milk for him,ooh my goodness, he was filled with gratitude, he thanked me and said he cannot talk much we will talk when he feels better.
I got some dollars 💸 from my bag and told him to hold on to it incase he needs something until I come back.
