The Nagar Kirtan is led by 5 saffron-robed Sikhs called Panj Pyare, or the beloved ones dressed in traditional Sikh attire in front of a float with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the holy Sikh scripture. The community sings hymns as the procession moves through the streets spreading joy and sharing the messages of unity and Chardi Kala. Also, experience the Sikh Martial Arts, Gatka showcasing Sikh courage, discipline, and agility.
