Director, Student Life Experience: A senior member of the Office of the Dean of Students, this position has broad responsibility for providing overall leadership and direction of student involvement and engagement at Northern Arizona University, including oversight of university clubs and organizations, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and student leadership opportunities. This position will also oversee efforts related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice training, resources, and development for all areas of the department, as well as ensuring inclusive practices in support of student involvement. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Salary range begins at $83,312. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.

Hey NAU, heads up on this annual Winter Parking Ordinance which begins on Monday! This is for parking on roads in Flagstaff.
The City's Winter Parking Ordinance goes into effect on Nov. 1. There is NO PARKING on city streets or alleyways from midnight to 7:00 a.m. This parking restriction is enforced whether it is snowing or not and remains in effect until April 1, 2022.

Last Friday we had some fun at the distribution. In addition to the cooking demonstration (see recipe below), we gave out Spooky grub boxes with the things to make a Halloween House. Our next food distribution is next Friday (11/5/21)

Today, we celebrate diversity a couple of ways. It is both Indigenous Peoples' Day and Coming Out Day. May our lives be filled with acceptance and love.
This month we light our Skydome purple to bring awareness to Domestic Violence. NAU will host several events this month to raise awareness. Resources, help, and information can be found at ODOS, EAO, Title IX, and Health Promotion
Domestic Violence survivors are tough as nails! This month we invite you stop by our tables on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, to paint your ring fingernail purple in support of Domestic Violence Prevention. All genders are welcome to participate. We also have information and resources available if you or a friend needs assistance.

Louie's Cupboard, in partnership with the NAU Dietician, hosted a cooking demonstration on Sept.24. It looked, smelled, and tasted delicious! Distribution will occur this Friday.
The shelves empty very quickly on distribution day... please continue to donate to Louie's Cupboard. We served 663 people in September. There is a special request for toothpaste and deodorant. We also are always in need of healthy cereal and soup. Drop off your denotations this week (at ODOS) in preparation for the Friday 10/8/21 distribution.
