New scholarship at NAU's Honor’s College: The Nemesio Canales Rivera scholarship. This scholarship is named for Nemesio Canales Rivera (1879-1923) a prominent Puerto Rican writer, public scholar, activist, and advocate committed to human rights and access to knowledge. Students who identify as Hispanic or indigenous and those coming from rural areas are especially encouraged to apply. Deadline is end of July. Arizona Lottery funds five participants in NAU's Honors Native American Summer Research Program Applications for the 2024 program are open through March 22.

Would you like to spend the summer interning in Washington D.C and have NAU cover 100% of the costs? The Washington Center Academic Internship is a life-changing experience available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors of all majors.

To apply for a TWC internship, you'll need to submit your unofficial transcripts, a one-page resume, a 450-750 word writing sample, and a 100-word statement of professional interest.

Winter is coming: Flagstaff may see its first seasonal snow this upcoming week Flagstaff may see snow starting this upcoming Thursday and heading into the weekend. The average snowfall for Flagstaff in November is 7.8 inches.
