Please join us in celebrating. Brendan Trachsel, current Student Body President of the Associated Students at Northern Arizona University (ASNAU), and Parks and Recreation Management degree-seeking student with an emphasis in Outdoor Education & Leadership, wrote a wonderful short article highlighting the PRM program and finding a path toward meaningful experiential education here at NAU. Brendan’s article is entitled “Finding My Path to Parks and Recreation”. It was submitted and well received by our national professional association, National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA), and subsequently published in the ‘We Are Parks and Recreation’ section of this February’s NRPA magazine.
Many thanks to Brendan for taking the time to write this article and recognize the potential beneficial impacts of experiential programming at NAU.
Please find Brendan’s 3-minute read electronically by navigating to this link.
