President Mary Hawkins had the opportunity to accept IME Becas scholarship funds on behalf of Bellevue University at the Consulate of Mexico. Bellevue University uses these funds to support Mexican students living in the U.S. who are pursuing educational credentials or degrees. Also in attendance from BU, Soccoro Carrera, Bellevue University’s Global Partnership Specialist.

Bellevue University’s Vice President and Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Rebecca Murdock, will be featured in an upcoming panel for the Business Ethics Alliance. The lunch will be held August 22 at the Charles Schwab Field Clubhouse. The panel will discuss the importance of building trust and authentic relationships in an inauthentic digital world. In July, Bellevue University participated in the second annual U.S. Chapter Meeting for DELFIN.

BU was represented by Dr. John Kyndt, Dr. Stephen Linenberger, Socorro Carrera, Moises Saucedo, and Dr. Michelle Eppler.

Our students and faculty delivered presentations from the seven-week summer research projects that the DELFIN students completed during their stay. We are excited to share what these international students are learning at Bellevue University!
