The 1AD & Fort Bliss Reserve Component Transition Office will be closed Friday, April 10th and Monday, April 13th for Easter and the 1AD Spring DONSA. We will resume normal office hours on Tuesday, April 14th @ 0900 hrs.

The 1AD & Fort Bliss Reserve Component Transition Office is considered essential services for COVID-19 Crisis. We will continue with normal operations with minimal manning per published guidance. Our hours of operation are 0900-1600, Monday-Friday. We will continue to have the congressionally mandated RCT Brief every Tuesday at 1300 hrs. The RCT team was able to compete for the German Armed Forces Marksmanship Badge. Those that recieved Gold MSG Haigh, SFC Shono and SFC Torres-Ramos. SFC Williams recieved the Silver.

Congratulations to SPC Baker for deciding to continue serving in the USAR! Citizen Soldier for the next 3 years.

And another young Sergeant deciding to continue his service to the United States! SGT Nichol has been accepted into the US Army Reserve Drill Sergeant Program! Future Enlistees will have the oportunity to be taught and educated by this professional Soldier! On top of it he will get a $6000.00 bonus! Join me in congratulating another fine Soldier.

Congratulations to MSG Brian K. Haigh, Senior Reserve Component Career Counselor who earned the Silver German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB) August 16.

In order to earn the GAFPB, Soldiers must complete several events which include: German Fitness Test, First Aid Training Test, NBC MOPP Test, 100m Swim in Uniform, M9 Pistol Qualification and 12k Road March.

Join me in congratulating both SPC Corner (Arizona Army National Guard) and SPC Berry (Oregon Army National Guard). Both have decided to continue to serve this great nation. They have both decided to serve for 6 years in their respective States and they will both be recieveing a $20,000 Affilation Bonus!

SFC Aguilar has been with the Reserve Component Transition (RCT) Team since December 2018 and has been an intergral part of 1AD and the Team Bliss RCT.
