Cool breeze, a bit of sun and no humidity- perfect weather for a fun day with this NSU Intro class and a crew from our local PBS station. We're so grateful to be back to doing what we love!

So much to learn about how we move through the world just by experiencing what it feels like to try something new.
This NSU class brings curiosity, sensitivity and kindness to the process.

Welcome to the 2021 Fall NSU Introduction to Equine Assisted Therapy Class - we're so happy you're joining the herd!

Tinkerbell had so many stories and such a big life. She was an amazing therapy horse - with us since day one! - but before she came to Stable Place she was quite the pony rock star: outings with South Florida Trail Riders, parades ( in costume!) and visiting schools and events for the Black Stallion Reading Project. She knew how to be the center of attention, and her true calling came when the first client walked into her paddock. With Tinkerbell, attention must be paid. She may have been small in stature but her personality never left you with any doubt as to her opinion. She was as honest as they come and taught countless therapists, medical students, clients and anyone else lucky enough to spend some time with her exactly what they needed to know. There was no place for anything but authenticity and kindness in her world, and we're feeling the loss of such a gentle and wise spirit in ours. 😢😢😢💖💖🦄

Our friends at Give Back to Special Equestrians have worked tirelessly to make sure that equine therapy programs will continue their important work despite the difficulties of the past year.
