IMPORTANT REMINDER!!! We have quite a few families who have not registered for the 2024-25 school year. All new and returning students must be registered. Students will not be assigned to classes until registration is completed and proof of residence has been received. This is new for 2024-25.
If you need help or have moved, please give us a call at 817-847-2942 or email our Registrar, Julie Merritt at [email protected]. We are here to help Mondays-Wednesdays from 7:30-5:30 and Thursdays from 7:30-5:00. Please note that our office will be closed for summer vacation from June 24-July 5, 2024.
Meet-the-Teacher will be on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 5:30-7:00. Our First Day of School will be on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Thank you also to our music teacher, Jalyn Green for working with our Kindergarten students on their musical performance, and to our Kindergarten teachers for their hard work with their students all year long.

It’s not too late to order school supplies for 2024-25. This is a great service provided by our amazing PTA.
Our LCES Honors Choir had the opportunity to perform at Bass Performance Hall this evening under the direction of their Director, Ms. Jalyn Green. Our Lions did a phenomenal job representing our Pride, not only in their musical performance, but also with their excellent manners and etiquette. We couldn’t be prouder.
Thank you to the EMS ISD Fine Arts Department and to Bass Performance Hall for this amazing experience.

10 years of service with EMS ISD: Whitney Hazelwood;
and 15 years of service with EMS ISD: Kim Coy.
Retiring after 27 years in education: Anita Stephens.

Our last House Pep Rally for the year is in the books. Congratulations to the grade level recipient of the Character Award of the Month and a huge shout out to the Boswell HS Band Drumline and the LCES Honors Choir for performing for everyone.

Happy National Speech Pathologist Day!
We had a special guest speaker at LCES this morning. Former NFL Player and Rose Bowl Champion Keith Davis has learned many life lessons about winning and losing. By sharing his own personal trials and triumphs, both athletically and academically, he inspired students to “Say YES” to making good choices and finding confidence in themselves and their unique gifts.
