Mrs. Danforth served as our Highland Hawk Band Director for an impressive 25 years before deciding to retire last year. Her passion for music and dedication to our students would let her stay away for long and has brought her back to us! We couldn’t be more fortunate to have her on our team once again.

We are confident that her return will continue to fill our band program with energy and inspiration. Let’s give her a warm welcome and show our appreciation for her continued commitment to our children and community.

Please join us in celebrating Coach Matt Hayes as he steps into the role as our Boys' Athletic Coordinator. Coach Hayes is entering his 6th year of education and has served as a social studies teacher and coach during this time. Coach Hayes hopes to inspire and drive our students to excel both in and out of the classroom so they can grow as student athletes while enjoying every step of their journey.

Today our Hawks who earned their 6th six-weeks PBIS points participated in class competitions! Although the weather threw a kink into our plans, our Hawks still had a blast! Our 6th grade class won the class competition!!!! AND our staff dominated in our staff vs. students basketball game! Hawks we are proud of your hard work this year and were happy to get to celebrate with you today!!! See you tomorrow for our last day! 💙❤️

Another great evening celebrating our 8th grade Hawks at their award ceremony last night!!! We cannot believe tomorrow will be the last day of your middle school careers but we are so blessed to have been a part of your lives! We are so proud of what you have already accomplished and can’t wait to see what you will do in High School! Soar Hawks!!! ❤️💙

For those who earned their PBIS points to participate and are not failing any classes, you will be able to purchase a snow cone and the concession stand will be open for business as well!!!
