The Fort Worth ISD is pleased to announce that it will offer free breakfast and lunch to all children from Wednesday, June 5 through Tuesday, July 2. Meals will be available Mondays-Thursdays.

The program is open to all children age 18 or younger who wish to receive a free meal and does not require enrollment in any summer program.

In addition to the summer food program, Fort Worth ISD will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch to students during the 2024-25 school year.

Due to the high possibility of rain storms at dismissal we will have Indoor dismissal today, Thursday May 9, 2024. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and keeping all students safe.

Mrs. Villegas Kinder dual language class partnered with Mrs. Soto’s second grade dual language class to make fresh salsa using a molcajete and made tortillas using a tortilla press in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Students learned how a molcajete is frequently used in the Mexican culture to make salsa and how maíz is used to make the flour for tortillas.

Our Sweet Kinder Lily Bees had a great time at their very first on-stage performance! Thank you Ms. Trent! This is where tradition begins! Thanks to the kindergarten teachers for their help!

Such a great day to celebrate two of the best! Happy Administrative Professionals Day to Mrs. Conner and Mrs. Garcia! Thank you to the LBC community for making their day so special!
