We provide support and information to the veterans of Texas Wesleyan University.
We are a close group of veterans and students that provide support and information to the veterans of Texas Wesleyan University. Our goal is to keep veterans informed about VA claims, how to file a claim, benefits and how to apply for benefits, and we work with the school to help them make changes to help veterans that they may not have been aware of used in the past. These are only a few things that we work to help veterans with while attending Texas Wesleyan University.
Please join us on April 13, 2021 from 11:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. for the Texas Wesleyan University Student Veterans Organization campus wide su***de prevention event. Located in the center of campus.
If you have a veterans business or nonprofit and would like to participate, please contact us at [email protected] (not Facebook) so that we can add you to the event. Space is limited this year due to COVID-19 restrictions which will still be enforced for this event.
Coming this spring to Texas Wesleyan University - SALUTE Veterans Honor Society

Don't want to talk to the TWU SVO veterans or just want to have someone else to talk to? Vets 4 Warriors isn't like any other organization out there and it's really great to get to talk to another veteran, dependent, or military family member on the other end of the phone line. They don't talk to you like the VA or some of those others that you talk to that you know that they really don't care and are just there because an organization is saying someone will be there for you. They will talk to you no matter how long you need to talk, they are real veterans, dependents, and family members and down to earth about anything that you want to talk about and at anytime.

We had a great turn out for our two SVO spring surveys. Thank you all!
The Student Veterans Organization is working with campus in opening Texas Wesleyan University's first ever Student Veterans Office this spring.
We're hoping that everything falls into place and we are inviting veterans and students to come visit us in our new office.
Not only will a new office give veterans and students a place to come talk but we are also looking into giving students the opportunity to earn volunteer hours by running the office during the day.
We're also working with the school to get designated parking spots for Disabled Veterans like other universities have in their parking areas.
Spring is looking promising but still a a long time away so we will see.

The TXWes Student Veterans Organization had a blast today hanging out and answering the questions of the children at W.J. Turner elementary school. It was a rainy down on the outside but nothing but smiles on the inside. There will be more photos coming soon of our day with the school.
