O most Holy Mother, receive my prayers as I present them to God. O Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, you intercede for us with your Son. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, pray for us.

We all take things for granted. In particular, we take time for granted. We make our lives too busy. We plan our days, weeks, months, even years in advance. Remember, our time on earth is a gift. None of us knows how long we will be here. Start today and begin thanking God for each and every day. Take time in silence, every day, and listen to how God is calling you right now to help build His kingdom on earth.
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Be watchful! Be alert!
You do not know when the time will come.
It is like a man traveling abroad.
He leaves home and places his servants in charge,
each with his own work,
and orders the gatekeeper to be on the watch.
Watch, therefore;
you do not know when the lord of the house is coming,
whether in the evening, or at midnight,
or at cockcrow, or in the morning.
May he not come suddenly and find you sleeping.
What I say to you, I say to all: ‘Watch!’”
Mark 13:33-37
O glorious Saint Andrew, you were the first to be called by our Lord, and with courageous love, you died a martyr’s death and offered your life’s blood to build the Kingdom. Stir in our hearts a desire to save souls and to do all things for the glory of God.
We commend to your powerful intercession our longing to construct a magnificent house of God. May it be a sacred dwelling worthy of His presence that will inspire many souls to follow Christ with your same passion and sacrifice.
Replace our worldly fears with trust and courageous love, that God’s grace may inspire generosity with the gifts he has given us. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

O Lord our God, You alone are the Most Holy King and Ruler of all nations. We pray to You, Lord, in the great expectation of receiving from You, O Divine King, mercy, peace, justice and all good things. Protect, O Lord our King, our families and the land of our birth.
Most of us are generous when it’s convenient for us. We are generous when we have the time or the money. But, real generosity is the opposite of that. It means giving of one’s time, money, compassion, forgiveness or mercy when it’s not convenient to us, when it’s not on our schedule, but on the other person’s timeline.
Giving Tuesday is THREE DAYS AWAY! Do you know which organizations you'll be supporting? Check out the link below to find your favorite parish, school, or ministry to support for this years campaign! Advanced giving is open now. https://fortworth.igivecatholic.org/

Gracious and loving God,
As the autumn season continues its transformation;
and the days become shorter, the earth cooler;
as we join family and friends in joy and celebration on Thanksgiving Day,
we pause to give you thanks and praise for the abundant blessings You have bestowed upon us:
for life and health, safety and comfort, food and nourishment.
Through your Spirit, open our hearts so that we may be even better stewards of Your many blessings.
Show us how to be a blessing for the poor, sick, lonely and all who suffer.
And help us nurture the gift of faith, revealed to us by your Son, Jesus Christ, our greatest gift,
who reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
Amen.

God calls us to nurture and develop the gifts He has given us and then generously return a portion with increase. He doesn’t want us to waste or hoard the gifts He has given us. He expects us to grow our gifts, to use them wisely, and to be generous with them. Unfortunately, many of us are not generous in proportion to all that God has given us. God asks us to be generous with all our gifts, especially the one that means the most to you.
